Hi, my name’s Amin Prenji, I’m the Producer, my job is to manage the project. That means making sure everyone on the team knows what to do and when. Deadlines are everything in this business! People say I’m a serious kind of guy, but I love working with people and getting results. My job starts with working out the critical path for the project and the dependencies. What this means is that everything has to slot together. For example, we can’t start the video shoot until we’ve decided which music track to use. So the video is dependent on the music choice being made first. I’ll write up the project plan too. This shows everyone where their task fits in, and (important, this) when each stage has to be completed. It’s also down to me to chat to the client, keep in contact, and make sure what we’re doing is what the client wants – and will pay for!
